This movie starts out with Buddy the main elf at an orphaned. On Christmas when Santa came he crawls into his sack of presents. Years pass and the elf's have let Buddy be an elf with them. He finds out that he is not an elf and that he most go to New York City because there is not enough Christmas spirit. When he gets to New York City he finds this 'family' that lets him stay with them he gets really attached to them and stays there for a while. He gets a job at this Christmas place. He falls in love with this girl. All is fine until the night of Christmas, on Christmas Santa's slay can't fly because there is not enough Christmas spirit. But the girl that Buddy is in love with sings and the Christmas spirit is restored and Christmas goes on for another year.
